The system consists of a handy absorption photometer and microcuvettes containing dry reagents.
The cuvette is filled with a small volume of blood, either directly from venous blood or directly from a finger prick, using capillary effect.
The cuvette is placed in the holder on the photometer and with a tap it’s drawn automatically into the device.
The color intensity of the reaction is measured automatically and hemoglobin and calculated hematocrit are displayed. (SKUP – evaluated).
